is it true that boggs used to foul off pitches he didnt want to hit? And has Boggs lost a bit of his part of the red sox mystique since boston has won the world series? Or will he forever be able to be recognized when someone is impersonating his swing?

i dont know if it's really true but wayne kidney always used to tell his son alex to foul off the pitches he didn't want to hit and wait for a better one. just like boggs.
i'll always think of boggs in a red sox uni eventhough he won a world series as a yankee...
